About This Release
Vinyl LP pressing. Low in High School is Morrissey's first album since 2014 and the iconic musician's debut for BMG. On his eleventh studio effort, Morrissey's talent for combining political statements and beautiful melodies is more prevalent than ever as he captures the zeitgeist of an ever-changing world. Low in High School was recorded at La Fabrique Studios in France and Ennio Morricone's Forum Studios in Rome. The record was produced by Joe Chiccarelli (Frank Zappa, The Strokes, Beck, The White Stripes). This Deluxe Edition 2LP-set of Morrissey's Low in High School includes his touching cover of The Pretenders' "Back On The Chain Gang," five live B-sides from the recording session, three unreleased tracks, a lithographed photograph of Morrissey, and a rare version of a photo booth portrait taken when the legendary frontman was a student.
