One of the rising stars on the newly revamped Miami based Afrowax label is the German DJ/synth player Markus Schmidt, known in his native country as "Groove Man" for his unique prowess in the recording studio, sweetening tracks with his rare magic. The talented DJ has developed a unique sound that can be described as "Euro-lectro," and a perfect fit for Afrowax, the groovy little label that turned the world on to the sounds of speed garage and other adventurous electro-dance music. Here he teams with the young, up and coming R&B/Hip-Hop vocalist Karl Lennox for the upbeat "Ride In My Ferrari," the second single to be released from their critically acclaimed new album, "I'm The Groove Man." The first single, "Don't Worry, Be Happy," was recently released and is already making waves on both sides of the Atlantic. The new single features 4 exclusive mixes, including bonus instrumental and acappella versions. Expect more to come from the uber-talented duo of Groove Man and Lennox.
